About Lauren Mandych, ND
My
Story
Before studying naturopathic medicine I received my Bachelor of Arts and Science in Child
Development at Tufts University. I trained in outdoor education at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and am a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher. These experiences inform my approach by emphasizing that our health and well-being are intimately linked to the connections we have with our internal and external environments.
I earned my Doctor of Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where I focused on lifestyle medicine (optimizing the foundations of health
through areas such as nourishing food, quality sleep, movement and sense of purpose), the
mind-body connection (including mindfulness, meditation and breathwork) and the "nature connection" (the health benefits from cultivating a relationship with the natural world).

I am an adjunct instructor at Vermont State University (previously Northern Vermont University), where I teach courses on these topics.
When not in the office, I love exploring the outdoors with my husband and our dog. I am learning to garden and enjoy trying new recipes with what we grow!
